It’s been about six weeks since the last good chat, and I’m not sure where the time has gone. Along with generally enjoying Sydney being out of lockdown, here’s what I’ve done:
finally started Succession (five episodes in to season 1: am currently Team Kendall)
made my sister watch Sports Night with me (her first time, my I’ve-lost-count-of-the-rewatches rewatch; she hates Dana and it took her at least a dozen episodes to tell Dan and Casey apart) (on a related note, going down a google rabbit hole on Succession led me to a piece on whether it’s normal to have a weird crush on Kendall (I was just reading for research), which linked in its first paragraph to this explainer someone wrote on their realisation about the reason why they’re attracted to Josh Charles, and all of this is to say, all the explanation or reason you need is simply Dan Rydell)
bought too many books, excited by the fact I could finally go back into a bookstore, but read only one of them (The Thursday Murder Club, which took me a while to get into but by the end I was very charmed and understood why it’s so popular)
not a lot else
