Hi gang, it’s been a while! I wish I could say I’ve spent my time in lockdown doing worthwhile things, bettering myself, but I’ve just been spending my time going for the same walk, reading, and doing lots of online shopping.

This has been all over Twitter this week, and for good reason. It’s beautiful and devastating, I read it with my coffee one morning and ended up sobbing.

I feel like I’ve had several people say this to me over the last year, and of course I’ve felt it myself. Ted - and the show’s - brand of positivity and kindness just feels attainable and actually realistic (unlike, say, Parks and Recreation, which is also full of nice people and also gives the warm fuzzies, but doesn’t feel as real).
The show gets in your head, and not in an unwelcome way, or an “I’ll never forget how Kate Winslet said ‘hoagie’ during Mare of Easttown” way. Instead, it makes you wonder, How can I pull a little bit of this positivity into my own life?
